Pick, 87, died at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. He was the son of Benjamin Franklin and Martha Jane Watts Clement. He was reared and educated near Grapevine. A lifelong resident of Grant Co. where he farmed near his home for several years before working in the timber industry and for sawmills in and around Grant Co.. He retired from Wafford's Cabinet Shop where he was a wood finisher.

Funeral services were held at Ralph Robinson's by Rev Dale Gentry. Pallbearers were Danny Carter, Perry Smith, John Smith, James Benjamin Clement, Truman Clement, Ralph Clement, Buddy Woodfield and James Durwood Walker.

Pick and Gertrude were survived by three children a son James Bernard "Jimmy" and two daughters Wanda Lee Clement Carter and Mary Jane Clement Smith.

Gertrude was the daughter of William Pinkney and Mary Elizabeth Sullivan Taylor. She was a former school teacher at Lamont in Grant Co. and had been the assistant postmaster to Onie Clement at Grapevine, AR.. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Her funeral service was at Ralph Robinson's by Rev Bobby Coleman. Pallbearers Danny Carter, Perry Smith, John Smith, James Benjamin Clement, R.L. Taylor, J.W. Greenwood, James D. Walker and Ralph Clement.

Daughter Wanda Lee Clement Carter and her husband Dan Carter are buried in the cemetery at White Hall near the high school.
