Mrs. Mikell was a native of Bulloch County and had lived in Statesboro all of her life. She was a member of the Statesboro Primitive Baptist Church, and a retired sales lady.
Mrs. Mikell is survived by one sister, Mrs. Tessie B. Riggs of Statesboro; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Christine Mikell of Statesboro; also several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mikell will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. from the chapel of Smith-Tillman Mortuary, with Elder W. H. Durrence and Elder T. Roe Scott officiating. Burial will be in East Side Cemetery.
