Norma J. Armstrong, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Blue Hill Care Center, Blue Hill, Nebraska. Norma was born October 22, 1926 in Gering, Nebraska to Henry & Anna Elisabeth (Koch) Adler.

Norma graduated from Hastings (NE.) High School. She married Francis P. "Pete" Armstrong on May 25, 1951; he preceded her in death on July 11, 1983. She worked at the Naval Ammunition Depot, Cornhusker Plant and Ag-tronics known as Colemans. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hastings, Nebraska and was a past member of the Eagles, Hastings, Nebraska.

Norma was preceded in death by: parents; husband, Francis P. "Pete" Armstrong; four brothers and eight sisters.

Survivors are:
Daughters, Jane Canterberry – Hastings, Nebraska
Francine Minehart – Greensboro, North Carolina
Son & Daughter-in-law, Tom & Carol Sorensen – Portland, Oregon
7 Grandchildren
16 Great-Grandchildren
Sister, Evelyn Booze – California
and a host of family and friends.

Interment was in Parkview Cemetery, Hastings, Nebraska.
