The following information is all from a history of the Inglish families compiled by Mr. Hugh J. Inglish.

Daniel is the son of Jane Miller and Joseph Inglish. He grew up in Cedar County, Missouri, and went to the State of Illinois for two years when he was twenty years old. He went back to Cedar County and then moved to Moniteau County where he established a brickyard in California. In 1859, he drove an ox team to Pike's Peak. In 1861, he helped to organize a company of the Moniteau County Rangers and was made Lieutenant. In 1866, he moved to Morgan County and in 1879, was elected County Judge. Daniel owned a large farm near Barnett. He was a member of the Christian Church and an active Mason.

Daniel and Margaret married in October, 1860, in Moniteau County. Their children:

Fernando W.
Quincy. R.
Willard P.
Mallery H.
Daniel M.

Daniel has several brothers and sisters (see list below) and one step-brother, Joseph Paris, #70928056.

1. Hutchin was born in Missouri in 1825 and lived in Texas for some time. One member of the Inglish family says he married a Hunter; another says he married Sally Maupin. He served as a Confederate soldier during the Civil War and was with the James Boys after the war. He died in the Choctaw Nation. Hutchin's children are: Morris, Frank, Angeline, Adeline and Anna E.

3. Thomas never married. He was killed by a man named Wysman at the age of 25.

4. Polly was born in what is now Moniteau County. She married William Welch and they had four children: Robert, Walker, Cynthia and Gordon.

5. Hannah married John Hunter on October 22, 1846 in Cedar County, Missouri. Page 1062 of Goodspeed states that she married John Hart now of Texas.
