NATIVE COUNTIAN DIES
Mrs. Minnie M. Cole, 64, Passes Away at Novelty, Mo.
KIRKSVILLE, Mo., Dec 15—Mrs. Minnie M. Cole, 64 years old, wife of W. C. Cole and a former resident of this city, died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Guy McConnell, of Novelty. She has been in ill health at her home in Locust Hill, for the past two years and was moved recently to her daughter's home.
The deceased was born in Macon county on Dec. 3, 1873, and lived in Kirksville for many years while Mr. Cole was engaged in the taxi business and was also a member of the Kirksville fire department.
Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Leonard Poston, 701 North John street, and Mrs. Guy McConnell, of near Novelty, and two brothers, Henry Shearer, Kirksville, and John Shearer, Edina. Her father, J. M. Shearer, died here about two years ago.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the McConnell home near Novelty, and burial will be in the Locust Hill cemetery.
