Edward was born September 6, 1921 to William H. Hoadley, Sr. and Mary Ann Nixon Hoadley in Easton, Pennsylvania.

Preceded in death by his wife, Leotha La Ruth Hoadley

Edward is survived by his daughter, and husband, and two grandsons.
