ANNA MAUDE (DIAL), widow of State Insurance Commissioner, Joe B. Hunt and daughter of Samuel Edward and Katie Neff Dial passed away January 12, 2005. She was born on June 7, 1913 in Marsh- field, Missouri. Anna Maude was an Okla. City Real Estate Broker and volunteered many hours to support the growth of business in Okla. City. She worked very diligently to promote fund raising for one of the first Spectophotometers used for open heart surgery at Mercy Hospital in 1960. Anna Maude was also a Rosie the Riveter during World War II. She is survived by her daughter, JoAnn Hunt of Ada; brother in law, Orion K. Hunt, Midwest City; sister in law, Monetta Dial, Portland, OR; nieces, Linda Dial, Janet Mitzel and Judy Madsen; friends, June Harper and Don Markham, Arvada, CO; friends, Tracy & Ray Jacomo; and God granddaughter, Katie, of Seminole. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 15th at Gethsemane Mausoleum Chapel located at Chapel Hill Cemetery under the direction of Ford Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Second Chance Animal Santuary in Norman, OK. Published in The Oklahoman on January 14, 2005
