Fannie will always be remembered as a perky, happy, fun-loving woman who never knew a stranger. She was the seventh child of ten born to John Thomas and Nettie Louiza (nee Hutchins)Boston of Granite City. She married William Charles Brockus Jr.in 1940 and had three children, William C. Brockus III, Susanne Kay Riddle-Haslinger (Brockus), and John Patrick Brockus. Fannie was widowed in 1969 and gave of herself to her children and to her grandchildren. Her grandchildren included Joshua William Riddle; Juliette Suzanne Riddle; Thomas Patrick Brockus; John William Brockus; and Charles Henry Brockus. Her great grandchildren include Paige Channing Benton, Chloe Juliette Riddle, and Isabel Richelle Riddle. Fannie's legacy is her generosity of love to all who knew her and cared for her. She is deeply missed by her family and lives on in their hearts forever. We love you, mom.
