Mrs. Annie Maude Lunsford, 87, 119 C St., Lindale, died this morning following an extended illness.
Born in Gordon County Nov. 1, 1893, daughter of Martha Chitwood and O. W. Barton, she was retired from West-Point Pepperell Manufacturing Company and attended the Baptist church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Clista Meroney, Lindale; two sons, Jack and Barnett Barton, both of Tallapoosa; a sister, Mrs. Rachel Freeman, Royston; 11 grandchilden and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the graveside in East View Cemetery with the Rev. J. Harold Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in East View Cemetery.
