A resident of River Terrace Estates, Mary Louise Morrical, 90, died at 12:57 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. She had been in failing health the past few years.

Born in Blackford County Sept. 13, 1914 to James and Bertha badger Leavel, she married Frederick Morrical Nov. 19, 1938 in Montpelier. He preceded her in death July 2, 1979.

A resident of Wells County since 1960, she formerly resided at Lancaster Apartments and had recently moved to River Terrace. She worked for many years at the Montpelier Glove factory and retired Sept. 13, 1977 from Kitco after 15 years of service. Active in the First Church of Christ, she was involved in many church programs including Helping Hands, For Others Mission Circle and Prayer and Share. She was a 1932 graduate of Montpelier High School.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. John (Carol Louise) Schreiber of Ossian and Esther Kay Morrical, Fort Wayne.

A sister, LaFaun Leaval and an infant brother, Harold Leavel, preceded her in death.

Services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday will be held at Thoma/Rich, Hewitt & Chaney Funeral Home under the direction of Pastor Larry Sprinkle.

Burial will follow at Six Mile Cemetery.

Calling will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and one hour prior to service Thursday.

Memorials may be made to the First Church of Christ.
