Mrs. Griffin Passes away
For several months it has been known that Mrs. J. D. Griffin was suffering from an incurable malady. All that could be done was to relieve her suffering and care for her tenderly, which was done. Her sickness dates from sometime in July, since when she had been confined to her bed, with the exception of two weeks continuously. On Sunday March 19, death relieved her suffering.
She was born near Albany nearly 37 years ago. She was married to John D. Griffin May 24, 1892. To this union were born four children, two of whom with the husband survive the wife and mother. The children living are a boy about 13 years old and a baby girl of 8 months. The burial occurred at Miller cemetery on Monday the 20th.
