Mildred "Liz" Booth Cavanaugh, 76, formerly of San Luis Obispo, died Friday, June 1, 1990, at her residence in Reedsport, Ore. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Reis Chapel in Cayucos. The Rev. Harry Beier of the Cayucos Community Church will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cambria Community Cemetery. Mrs. Cavanaugh was born March 24, 1914, in Meriden, Conn., where she was raised and educated. She married Albert C. Booth in 1936 in Connecticut and completed her nurse's training during World War II. They moved to Sepulveda in 1951, and resided there until retiring to Cambria in 1968. Mrs. Cavanaugh was a homemaker her entire adult life. She served as a volunteer for many years with the Senior Citizens Lunch Program at Chuckwagon Restaurant in Cambria. Mr. Booth died in 1972 and she married Jack M. Cavanaugh in 1980. They made their home in Reedsport in 1988. Mrs. Cavanaugh's interests included crafts, needlework and lapidary. She was a member of the Cambria Woodcarving Club and the Fishing Club of Cambria.
