Nancy Amanda Mortenson Bowcutt, 87, died Monday at the home of her son, Stanley Bowcutt, in Tremonton, Utah.

She was born on September 22, 1879, in Saint Charles, Idaho, a daughter of Niels and Anna C Hemmert Mortenson. She was raised and educated in Saint Charles.

She married William James Bowcutt on March 25, 1900 in Diamondville, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. William died on February 20, 1957.

She was a Relief Society Visiting Teacher.

Surviving are one son, Stanley Bowcutt, Tremonton, Utah; three daughters, Mrs M C (Delta) Marsh, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs Delbertine Boyd, Wink, Nevada; and Mrs M J (Lorella) Sunford, Imlay, Nevada; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Burial was held in the Riverside Cemetery, Riverside, Utah.
