EDWARD PELLMAN DIES

Former Leavenworth, Kas., Street Commissioner Was 56.


Leavenworth, Kas., Aug. 18
--Edward O[tto] Pellman, 56, street commissionere here from 1943 to 1949, died yesterday at the home. He recently had operated a liquor store and prior to that had a Pontiac agency.

A resident here 54 years, Mr. Pellman was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, the Eagles and the Elks, St. Paul's Episcopal Church and the Leavenworth Country Club.

Mr. Pellman leaves his wife, Mrs. Naomi Pellman of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Annette Patzwald, and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dorothy James, Leavenworth; two stepsons, Robert K. Miller, Carmichael, Calif., and Don R. Miller, Leavenworth; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Bohlken, 6226 Walrond [Avenue], Kansas City, [Missouri]; Mrs. Clara Springer, Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Lena Ray, Leavenworth; three brothers, Henry F. Pellman and Elmer F. Pellman, Leavenworth, and John Pellman, San Diego; and nine grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 o'clock Wednesday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Burial will be in Mount Muncie Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to St. Paul's Church.
