Deceased Name: 'Jill' Sally Davison Prickett

Jan. 29, 1933 - Dec. 4, 2003 'Jill', formerly of Richmond, CA, passed away in Agis of Fremont on December 4, 2003, at the age of 70. She is survived by her children Jennifer Andrews, Richmond, VA; Dr. Stacey Prickett, London, England; Bruce Prickett, Jr., Fremont, CA; Lynn Varallo, Coronado, CA; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce (LCDR USN Ret.). She was daughter of Capt. (USN Ret) John W. and Adele M. Davison of Waterford, VA, both deceased. She is survived by siblings John W. Davison, Jr., Leesburg, VA; Dori D. Comer, Sorrento, ME; Richard Davison, N Hollywood, CA; Henry Davison, Hollywood, MD; and Aunt Dorothy Davison Brinton, Hartford, CT.
As a Navy wife, Jill was a vital member of each community in which she lived, involved in numerous human rights and church organizations. An active member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Albany, CA since 1975, she served on San Francisco Bay Area Episcopal Diocesan and Alameda Deanery committees. She was a talented fabric artist and active member of the East Bay Heritage Quilters. A UC Berkeley graduate, she worked as a substitute teacher in the Richmond Unified School District.
The memorial service is on December 13, 2003, 4:30 pm at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Albany, CA. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Project Open Hand (www.open-hand.org) or Episcopal Relief and Development (www.er-d.org).
