Harriett Stringham married Bryan Ward Nowlin 25 Dec 1871 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

She was born in Salt Lake City, 23 February, 1855. From this union were born four children: Maria Nowlin; born 10 July 1872, in Salt Lake City; Mary Nowlin; born 31 August 1874; Earl Nowlin; born 3 August 1876, married and lives in Montana and Grace Nowlin.

Her husband, Bryan Ward Nowlin married a second time to Clemmie Martin of Chicago, about 1905. They had one son, born in Independence, Mo.

Bryan Ward was engaged in general merchandise business at Independence in 1906, having moved there from Nobby Benton, Mo. He served honorably twice as a missionary from the Mormon Church to the Central States and was faithful in the discharge of his duty. He was living in Kansas City, Mo. at the time of his death.
