Elsa was born on December 16, 1915 and passed away on Monday, February 3, 2003.
Elsa was last place of residence was 46 Jackson Avenue in Eastchester, prior to becoming ill and moving to a nursing home in Mamaroneck, NY.
Elsa lived almost her entire life in Eastchester New York, living in Chester Heights for many years, specifially at 7 Central Drive, then 828 New Rochelle Road, then 94 Oregon Avenue, all in Eastchester, before moving to Jackson Avenue. Elsa is survived by one daughter, Charleen Van Fleet of Eastchester, NY, her oldest daughter Patricia Brandt has since passed away. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Allison Coliskey of Camden, SC, Dawn Coliskey of Largo, FL, and Craig Van Fleet now in IL. She is survived by 6 great grandchildren. Elsa was married to William Brandt, but was divorced shortly after having their second daughter. William was never to be seen again, as he disappeared to California, leaving her to fend with her two daughters on her own. (with her family's help) Life was difficult for her at times, but she did the best she could, and I have some very fond memories of her.
