A Bio on the Meeker Hotel, written by Susan's nephew, Wright Owings Ball is in the book, "This Is What I Remember BY AND ABOUT THE PEOPLE OF WHITE RIVER COUNTRY," Pub. by The Rio Blanco County Historical Society, Inc. Pg 195-197
As per her will and upon her death, Susan's body was returned to Laurens County, South Carolina for burial by her brother Reuben Ball.
