A memorial service for Carl Richard Lamb, 82, of Charlestown, will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 18, at Bethany Christian Church, Charlestown. He died Saturday, June 4, 2011 at his home.
He was born Dec. 26, 1928 to Roy and Fern Atkins Lamb in Floyd County. He was a Marine Veteran of World War II, a retired electrician for Public Service of Indiana for 40 years, and a member of the Bethany Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Juanita Wilson Lamb; sons; Mark Lamb, of The Woodlands, Texas, and Greg Lamb, of Carmel; half brother, David Landis, of Ellicott City, Md.; and grandchildren, Jessica, Jack, and Colton.
