He was born March 11, 1902, in Lavaca County to the late Fritz A. and Anna Kinkler Treptow. He retired from Chovanetz Feed Store as a clerk. He was a farmer and member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.
Survivors: daughter, Anna M. Bosse of Brenham; son, Rev. Henry F. Treptow of Kerrville; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Proceded in death by: wife, Edna Ford Treptow died Oct. 11, 1957; 10 brothers, two sisters and one grandchild.
Visitation: 11 a.m. today, Kubena Funeral Home.
Services: 10 a.m. Monday, St. Peter Lutheran Church, the Revs. Bob Lee, Charles Treptow and Herb Beyer officiating.
Burial: City Cemetery, Kubena Funeral Home, Hallettsville, 798-3271.
