Death of Mrs Smith by the Carnesville Advance 30 Oct 1903..The spirit of Mrs Tabitha Smith winged it's way to the God who gave it. Mrs Smith was one of the best women that we have ever known. She was about 70 years old. Was the mother of three children who are still living. J.L. and J. H. Smith and Mrs W. A. Crow of Royston where Mrs. Smith was residing at the time of her death. Her body was laid to rest at Trinity Church which church she had been a consistent member for many years. The funeral services were conducted by Rev M. M. Crow. Mrs Smith was bright and cherry at all times. She bore her afflictions with great patience and seem to be perfectly submissive to the will of God. We extend to the sorrowing of the family and many friends our sincere sympathy.
