WAPELLO - Mrs. Effie Ada Perkins, 68, or rural route 2, Wapello, died at 5 a.m. today at Mercy Hospital in Burlington.

She was born June 25, 1899, in Vanceburg, Ky., the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Ed Harrington. She married Lloyd Perkins on Nov. 28, 1928 in Ohio.

Surviving are: husband, Lloyd; a son, Herman Lane of Ft. Campbell, Ky.; two step sons, Elmer Perkins of Burlington and Leslie Perkins of Morning Sun; one step-daughter, Mrs. Donald Noble of Morning Sun; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Bloomfield of Vanceburg, Ky.; and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Dudgeon-McCully funeral home in Wapello on Wednesday, August 9, 1967, Rev. Robert Dodder of Wapello will officiate. Burial will be in Wapello Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Donald and Fred Noble, Ronnie and Jim Perkins, Gilbert Burgus and Jim Perkins
