Grace C. Shrader, 77 of Warrenton, VA died on February 5, 2011 at the Fauquier Hospital. She was born on September 26, 1933 in Mobile, Alabama, a daughter of the late Hugo Vilmer Carlman and Irma Tampson Roberts Carlman. She was a 1951 graduate of Murphy High School and was employed by First National Bank of Mobile until her marriage in 1955. Grace was an active member of St. James Episcopal Church in Warrenton where she taught Sunday School, served on the altar guild and vestry and as a wedding coordinator. She was a member of the Francis Fauquier Garden Club and the Black Horse Chapter of the U. D. C. She is survived by her husband, Barnard "Barney" Shrader; her son and his wife, Brett and Meg Shrader of Staunton, VA; two daughters and their husbands, Elaine and Kip Anderson of Schuyler, VA and Christina and David Seay of Amory, MS; one sister and her husband, Christina and Bill Flury, Milledgeville, GA; three grandchildren, Kyle and Chelsea Anderson of Schuyler, VA and Caitlin Seay, of Amory, MS. Graveside services will be held on Friday, June 24 at 11:00AM at Pine Crest Cemetery.
