Aaron was the son of (Rev.) Joseph Moseley/Mosely B-6/21/1761 in Sutton, Worcester, MA and his wife Susanna/Susannah Young B-12/2/1759 in Hopkinton, Middlesex, MA. Joseph Mosely was the son of John Mosely Sr. and Hannah Peck.

Aaron married 1) Anna Thomas (12/26/1798-8/21/1870) of Pompey Twp., Onondaga, NY on 1/15/1821 in NY state.

Aaron married 2) Elizabeth Sybil "Eliza" Moseley B-11/23/1803, Whitingham, Windsor Co.,VT, D-11/5/1888, Cuba, Crawford, MO. Age: 88, a 1st cousin, daughter of Samuel Moseley and Azuba Thomas in about 1826 in NY. At some point in time Eliza moved to WI to be near/with her adult children. Her father, Samuel Moseley/Mosley also moved to WI.

"The same letter [from Russell L. Warner, GRS] who supplied the above line of descendants of Joseph Moseley and Susanna Young says that Abigail had a brother, Samuel. Sutton, MA. Vital records to 1850 does show a Samuel, son of Joseph baptized Oct. 8, 1772 (church records as source).

"The parents of Brigham Young were in VT at the same time as the Sellon's were, as Brigham was born at Whittingham, VT July 1, 1801 The Youngs followed the Sellons to NY.

"Sutton, MA vital Records to 1850 also show an Olive Mosley daughter to Joseph and Susanna B-12/22/1784.

"Of misc. Moseley interest, the same records show an Elizabeth Moseley m. Benjamin Hall Aug. 22, 1771;
Hannah Mosley m. Nehemiah Adams Nov. 19, 1772.
The two eldest daughters of Joseph and Sibillah."
