Mr. Mann was a resident of Corpus Christi for 37 years. He was a retired cattle and oil man, and in recent years he had been in the real estate business. He was co-owner of the Mann-Heffley Oil Co. for 28 years until it was purchased by the Mobil Oil Co. in 1947.
Mr. Mann was one of the youngest participants in World War I, entering when he was 16, and was injured during a combat mission with the Army in France.
He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a Mason and Shriner.
He was survived by his wife, Lucille; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Mae Lane; his mother, Mrs. Ina Mann; a brother; four sisters; two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
