Albert Arens Dimmitt
June 30, 1942 - May 11, 2011
Albert passed away at home in Shingle Springs, Calif., of pancreatic cancer, with his wife Linda, daughter LeAnne Vannoy and son Randall Clark Dimmitt by his side. They have been residents of Shingle Springs since 1980.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents, Yvonna and Gustaf Burns and Mabel and Clark Hamilton Dimmitt; son, Richard Dimmitt; and sister, Darlene Eckhart. He is survived by his sisters, Evelyn Ellsworth of Sacramento, Calif., and Dorthy Kilborn of Grants Pass, Ore.; and granddaughters, Destiny and Dannika Vannoy and Heather Swanson.
A celebration of life will be held at Green Valley Comunity Church on his birthday, June 30, at 1 p.m., at 5300 Missouri Flat Road in Placerville, Calif.
