OLIVE MARIA WORKMAN SNOW
Olive Maria Workman Snow, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away June 3, 1993 at the home of her son, Lee. She returned to her Heavenly Father as a result of kidney failure. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
Born October 23, 1911 in Delta, Utah to Abram S. and Nellie Porter Workman. Married Grant L. Snow February 2, 1929. He preceded her in death; their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. She will be remembered for her creative writing abilities and her long service in the MIA as drama director, also served as a Sunday School, and Primary Teacher. She also gave compassion and constant love and support to family and friends. Special thanks to Hospice.
Survived by children and spouses, Shirley and Bob Kidd, Cottonwood Heights; Lee and Lorna Snow, West Jordan; Jay and Lois Snow, Ephraim; Nancy and Van Neilson, Riverton; 20 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother and sisters, Francis Workman, California; Lavina Perkins and Rita Fisher, both St. George, Utah.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the West Jordan 27th Ward, 7145 So. 2700 West. Friends may call Sunday evening 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home, 12600 So. 2200 West, Riverton, and on Monday one hour prior at the church. Interment, Sterling Cemetery.
