Paralee married Temple West Pyle, the son of Edwin Pyle and Sarah West Pyle in Stockton, Cedar Co., MO in 1861. She was the bride of a Civil War soldier and her husband, Temple, participated in the Cherokee Strip Land Rush. During her lifetime, Paralee lived in Missouri, Oklahoma, Canada, Texas, and Idaho. She was known for her spinning and weaving.

Paralee is believed to be the mother of 12 children: Ola Pyle, Anna Temple Pyle, Edwin Clayton Pyle, Arthur W. Pyle, Elnora Annice Pyle, Luther "Jack" Meredith Pyle, Edgar Asa Pyle, Nica Elsie Pyle, Walter Guy Pyle, Vidal Lee Pyle, Minnie Agness Pyle, and Clemmie Pyle.
