Mrs. Dorothy Ballard Williams 91, of Harriman, passed away Thursday, January 03, 2008 at Roane Medical Center. Born December 17, 1916 in Harriman. She attended Swan Pond United Methodist church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Williams; parents James and Allie Ballard; daughter Becky Williams; brother James 'Junior' Ballard; sisters Sis Sellers, Bonnie Ruffner, and Imogene Stapleton.
Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Phoebe and Curtis Humphreys of Harriman. Grandson and wife Jeff and Melissa Humphreys of Harriman, granddaughter and husband Rebekah and Jerry Sharp of Ft. Myers, FL. Great-grand children Jennifer Humphreys Ali and Andrew Nelson, and Rachel Sharp. Several nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends at Kyker Funeral Home Harriman, Friday, January 4, 2008 from 6 to 8 PM funeral services to follow at 8 PM. Graveside service and burial will be held at Williams Family Cemetery in Swan Pond Saturday January 5, 2008 at 11 AM. Louis Hill, Pete Scarbrough and Kyle Beverly officiating.
