SUD BEAN, 75, OF OLD LAUREL IS FOUND DEAD

KIRBYVILLE, JAN. 12

Sud Bean, 75, of the Old Laurel community, was found dead Saturday about 11 a.m. six miles from his home. He was in his pickup truck and had been out to feed his cattle.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of the E.E. Stringer Funeral Home of Kirbyville. The Rev. J.F. Petty, Baptist minister, will officiate. Burial will be in the Kirbyville Cemetery.

Dr. John T. Moore of Kirbyville and Justice of the Peace Ernest Smith of Hartburg were summoned. A verdict of death due to natural causes, a heart attack, was rendered.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Zadie Bean of Old Laurel community; three brothers, W.E. Bean and Ed Bean, both of Old Laurel and Will Bean of Baytown; four sisters, Mrs. Ethel McHan of Fort Worth, Mrs. Stella Scott of Houston, Mrs. Myrtle Davis of Old Laurel and Mrs. Hazel Davis of Orange.
