Barbara Jean Anderson, 72, of Cheyenne died Jan. 14 at United Medical Center-West.
She was born Nov. 15, 1932, in Huntsville, Texas, and lived here for 30 years with prior residence in Grand Junction, Colo.
Mrs. Anderson was a custodian for Laramie County School District 1 at Cheyenne's Central High.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Charles Mayfield of Cheyenne and Jon and Petra Mayfield of Orlando, Fla.; three daughters, Toni Keslar and her husband Marvin of Cheyenne, Stacy Livingston and her partner, Gabrielle Henery, of Fort Collins, Colo., and Lisa Mayfield of Buffalo; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Allen and Reba Sylvester of Huntsville, Texas, and William and Molly Sylvester of Danbury, Texas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Dorothy Northcutt of Arlington, Texas and Sue and Kenneth Bounds of Clifton, Colo.; seven grandchildren, Robert Keslar, Warren Keslar, Alisha Keslar, Allison Keslar, Malachi Livingston, Sarah Mayfield and Jonathon Mayfield; one great-granddaughter, Mary Jane Livingston; a mother-in-law, Rita Mayfield of Houston; and longtime family friends, Judy and Rebecca Fisher.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Charles Mayfield on Dec. 17, 1970, and Vuel Anderson on Nov. 18, 2002; and her parents, Henry Nathaniel and Chessie Eleanor Sylvester.
