Lillian M. Beadles, 79, of 1045 S. Fifth, formerly of Lewistown, died at 9:50 p.m. Friday, June 16, 1995, at Graham Hospital Extended Care Facility.

Born Sept. 9, 1915, in Knox County to Guy and Della Davis Nelson, she married James May on Sept. 1, 1940, in Fort Madison, Iowa, He died March 6, 1977. She married Fred Beadles on Dec. 6, 1985, in Lewistown. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Ira H. May of Austin, Texas; two daughters, Beverly North of Muscoda, Wis., and Carroll Lea Beloit of Denver; one stepdaughter, Charlotte Taylor of East Peoria; two brothers, Berwyn Nelson of Canton and James Nelson of Ellisville; one sister, Rozella Lester of Galesburg; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. One brother and one sister preceded her in death.

She was a self-employed yard ornament builder.

She was a member of Cuba Assembly of God Church.

She was a member of the American Association of Retired Persons. She was a former member of Canton Women of the Moose Lodge and Canton Eagles Lodge.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown, where visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Gene Hallstrom will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
