A. C. Weis Dies Of Pneumonia
Well Known Ridgway Man Had Been In Ill Health Three Years - Funeral Saturday Morning
Albert Charles Weis, 67 of 231 Grove avenue, well known Ridgway man, died at four o'clock yesterday afternoon following an illness of three weeks from pneumonia. His condition was critical the last five days. Mr. Weis had been in poor health for the last three years.
Funeral services will be held at ten o'clock Saturday morning in Grace Episcopal Church of which he was a faithful member. The rector, Rev. M. D. Maynard, will officiate. The body will be interred in Pine Grove cemetry.
Mr. Weis, born Nov. 17, 1869 in St. Marys, a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. C Weis, came to Ridgway when sixteen years of age and made this place his home for half a centry. He married Maud Ross, of Ridgway, on April 20, 1898, who preceded him in death in October 1935. Two daughters survive Mrs. Robert Givens (Martha) and Miss Jane Weis. He leaves also the following brothers and sisters: John and Robert Weis, Mrs. John Vollmer, Mrs. Edward Dippold, of St. Marys; Mrs. Anna Walker, of Ridgway; Mrs. Rose Stellhorn and Miss Genevieve Weis; of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Miss Ida Weis, of Tulsa, Okla.
Mr. Weis's death is the first of a family of nine children.

Funeral services for Albert C. Weis, a resident of Ridgway for half a century, who died last Wednesday following an illness of pneumonia, was held on Saturday morning at Ten o'clock in Grace Chruch, Rev. M. D. Maynard officiating. Appropriate music was rendered by Mrs. S. F. Andrerson, organist.
The pall bearers were F. J. Quin, Earl Overholser, E. A. Sowers, John R. Blackhall, Gordon Lewis and Clarence Moore. The body was interred in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Among those from out of town attending were Mr. and Mrs. John Weis, John Weis, Jr., Mrs. Edward Dippold, of St. Marys; Robert Weis, of Driftwood; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ross and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Ross of Pittsburg.
