Merwin E. Clark, 72, of 714 George Taylor Road, Silver Lake, WA, died March 17, 1984 in a local hospital. He was born April 16, 1911, at Fairview, OK.
He came to the local area at the age of 3, and was a retired logger and rancher, and a member of the Washington Cattleman's Association.
Surviving are his wife, Clara; three daughters, Anita J. Buke of Castle Rock, Georgia Burgin of Longview, and Rhonda Thayer of Silverlake; a son, George "Bud" Clark of Hoopa, CA; two sisters, Frances Schneider and Beulah Goble of Randle, WA; six brothers, David Clark of Kalama, Albert Clark of Longview, Robert and Darrell Clark of Castle Rock, and Eugene and Lloyd Clark of Silverlake; 16 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Toutle Lake Community Church with Rev. Ivan Marble officiating. Vault interment will be in Silverlake Cemetery.
