Bill was a member of the Lake County Rod and Gun Club and Moose Lodge #490 in Painesville. He was an avid archery hunter and outdoorsman and enjoyed gardening. He enjoyed spending time with his family especially his nieces and nephews.
Mr. Covill was employed as a Mortgage Account Executive with First Merit Bank in Cleveland.
He is survived by his wife Cathy (Thompson) whom he married June 20, 1992 at Zion Lutheran Church in Painesville. He also leaves his sister Terri (John) Nolan of Chardon, Ohio, his mother Marilyn (Schnell) Covill of Painesville Twp., Ohio, nephew Ryan Nolan, niece Alissa (Chad) Sines, nephew Pablo Thompson, niece Kyra Thompson, great nephew Peyton Nolan, brother-in-law Gordon (Brenda) Thompson and sister-in-law Janice Thompson.
Mr. Covill was preceded in death by his father, Henry William "Bud" Covill Jr., his niece Kelsey Nolan and his father-in-law Larry Thompson.
