Funeral services for Troy C. Dees, 91, were held at the First Baptist Church with Richard Lunsford officiating.
He was raised in Electra and moved to Olney in 1924. He and Eloise Farmer married 5 May 1938. Mr. Dees was partners in D&D Drilling Company with his brother, Lloyd V. Dees, who preceded him in death in 1978.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, the Downtown Men's Bible Class and the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors: his wife; son - Donald C. Dees of College Station; sister - Carrie Dees Green of Garland.
