In Memory of
WILLIAM POYNTELL ESQUIRE.,
Born in Oxfordshire, England
March 23rd 1756
Died September 10th 1811
Aged 55 years
"Distinguished as an honourable and useful citizen of Philadelphia for more than 40 years, Mr. Poyntell bequeathed to his family and friends the example of a well spent life in the practice of every moral and religious Duty.
Mark the perfect man and behold the upright for the end of that man is peace."
