Died in Kansas
William Aikman, an old well known citizen, died last night at 9:30 o'clock at his home in this city, aged 59 years of enlargement of the spleen. The deceased moved to Pittsburg in an early day from Vermillion County, IN, and has been a permanent resident ever since. He was a highly respected citizen, stood high in the estimation of the people. He leaves a wife and several children all grown, besides a large circle of friends to mourn his departure. The funeral services took place at 3 o'clock and the remains were interred in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
