(special thanks to Ken Slade #47772621 for the following info) George was born on 12 Mar 1836 in St. Clair Co. AL. He served in Brewster's Co. I, 18th Alabama Infantry of the Confederate Army during the Civil War. He enlisted with his father and his brother, Jack. George died in a Civil War hospital in Mobile.
