Edith Hamblen Bond, 95, of Ozark, Arkansas passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011, in Ozark. She was a homemaker, charter member of the Webb City Baptist Church and an avid reader.
She was born August 24, 1915, in the Mount Hope community to William and Fannie Williams Hamblen. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 67 years, Aaron Bond.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Staffer Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Staffer Funeral Home in Ozark.
She is survived by three sons, Joe and his wife Rosa Lee Bond of Ozark, Max and his wife Alice Bond of Eudora, Kansas, and Bruce and his wife Linda Bond of Lake Village; ten grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Bob Bond, Vincent Bond, Gary Bond, Bunkey Patrick, Leslie Pippen, Rick Bailey and Stanson Davis.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m. today at Staffer Funeral Home.
