KINGS - Ruth S. Anderson, 81, of Kings, died Friday, in Rochester, Minn.

She was born Nov. 3, 1910, to Gust and Betty (Sylvander) Lindelof in DeKalb.

She married Ralph T. Anderson August 18, 1951 in Rockford. He preceded her in death June 6, 1961.

A graduate of DeKalb High School in 1928, Anderson worked as the secretary of Kings School for several years.

She was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Rochelle and a member of the Rochelle Women's Club.

Survivors include one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ralph (Esther) Huizinga of Grosse Point Farms, Mich., and five cousins, Mrs John (Charlotte) Bross of DeKalb, Violet Lindelof of Arlington, Tex., Mrs. Tip (Jeannette) Arthur of Eastland, Tex., Linnea Bloom of Belvidere, and Eleanor Shoup of East Lima, Ohio. There are several more cousins in Sweden.

She was preceded by an infant daughter, Esther, in 1953.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 3, at Unger-Horner Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Briesacher officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Unger-Horner.
Burial will be at Lawnridge Cemetery in Rochelle.
Memorial to the Faith Lutheran Church.
