The wedding came as a surprise to the many friends of the couple and best wishes are extended for a happy future. Mr. Caldwell is one of the best known men in eastern Montana, havingserved in the ligislature and was also sheriff of Gallatin County. Miss Newcombe has lived in Montana for the past four years, much of the time in Helena, where her mother and brother now reside. The couple took the eastbound train Thursday afternoon for a short wedding trip, and on their return will make their home in Belgrade.
