KILLEEN — Services for Dorothy R. Jones, 85, of Killeen will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Killeen with the Rev. Tim McKeown officiating.
Burial will be in Killeen City Cemetery.
Mrs. Jones died Wednesday, June 8, in a Temple hospital.
She was born on Dec. 20, 1925, to Charles and Vada Anderson Richardson in Stephenville. On July 25, 1945, she married Pieter Prins of Dordrecht, Holland, in Chicago. She later married Robert J. Jones of Coffeyville, Kan. She retired from civil service at Fort Hood, having worked at the branch libraries and C.P.O. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Wanda Jones Timmons; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.
Survivors include two daughters, Diana Shelley of Killeen and Cheri McClellan of Lake Jackson; a stepson, Bobby Jones of Oyster Creek; a sister, Wanda Riley of San Antonio; three grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
