JAMES E. ANDERSON DEAD
Resident of Knox City Community, 63, Dies Following Stroke.
J. E. Anderson of north of Knox City, for many years a resident of Knox County, died Wednesday afternoon of last week, following a stroke of paralysis the Sunday previous. He had been ailing for some time. Mr. Anderson was 63 years old.
Funeral services were at the Assembly of God Church in Knox City at 11 o'clock Friday morning by the Rev. George Carmichael of Edina. Burial was in the Knox City cemetery.
Surviving Mr. Anderson are his widow; his aged mother, Mrs. Mariah Anderson-Bland; a son, William F. Anderson; two daughters, Mrs. Blanche Parrish and Mrs. Hazel Hubble, and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Nesbitt, all of Knox City community.
James Edward Anderson was born May 17, 1872, near Carrollton, Mo., and came as a child to near Knox City with his parents. He married Mary Alice Parrish Oct. 1, 1891, and to them were born four children, of whom three survive.
