MAQUOKETA, Iowa - Katherine Arterberry, 46, of Maquoketa, died suddenly on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at the Jackson County Regional Health Center, Maquoketa.Kathy M. Katy Reistroffer was born on April 2 1960 in Maquoketa Iowa to Donald E. Reistroffer and Judith M. (Watters) Reistroffer. In 1978 she graduated from Preston High School and began dating her eventual husband Bernie Hugh Arterberry. They dated for 9 years and were married on December 12 1987 in Maquoketa Iowa.

Kathy was a homemaker and had worked early on in her career first for the Preston Creamery then for CB Company and lastly as a bartender at the Eagles Club in Maquoketa.

Kathy loved spending time and sharing spirits with her friends. She enjoyed pool and had been a member of a pool league. She especially enjoyed sharing popsicles with her dog Maggie.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents her mother- Judy Reistroffer on July 72006.0 1 uncle- Frank Butch Watters on March 52005.0 & a cousin.
