SPENCE-- MRS. ROXIE ELSEA, age 76, of 2835 New Jersey Ave, Chattanooga, died in a Chattanooga hospital Wednesday night. She was a member of the Red Bank Church of God. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Wilma McFarland, Red Bank; three sons, Boyd Elsea, Soddy; Richard Elsea, Michigan; W. G. Elsea, Denver Colorado; three brothers, Truman Adams, Chattanooga; Luther Adams, South Pittsburg, and Bufford Adams, Whitwell; 24 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday from the chapel in the funeral home conducted by the Rev. Lewis Hickman. Interment will follow in the Tyner Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Roy Combs, Charles Castleberry, Robert L. Coaklay, Ronald B. Elsea, Willard A. Elsea, and James D. Elsea. Arrangements are by Williamson and Sons, Highway 27, Soddy Daisy.
