Green Berry Gillespies' parents remain unknown to me at this time. Many researchers and even DNA testing have been used to try to identify his parents. Green married Rebecca Poer daughter of David and Frances Madison Poer after about 1830. Green and Rebecca moved to Jasper, Pickens County, Georgia and had at least 6 or 7 children. green and Rebecca are buried together. All information from T "B" Jackson.
