"George Thomas Faith of Round Rock passed away Saturday night at home. He was 90. He was born Sept. 23, 1917 in Temple, TX to John David Faith, Sr. and Cora Idella Shepperd. He and Winona Wall married Dec. 21, 1941, and their daughter, Peggy Ann McGee, was born in 1946. George served in the Army National Guard during WWII. He briefly taught in a one-room school north of Temple. He worked as a purchaser for Scott & White Hospital in Temple for 16 years and for the State Board of Control in Austin, Texas for 18 years. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, and brother, J.D. George is survived by his loving wife, daughter and grandson, Aaron McGee, of Conroe, TX...."
