William Adrian dies;
50-year M&H employee
William W. Adrian Sr., 90, of 1579 Sobieski St., La Salle, died at 11:30 p.m. Sunday in his home after a nine month illness.

Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in the Pagani-Mueller Funeral Home, La Salle, and 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church. The Rev. Charles Welter, CM, a nephew, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Pagani-Mueller Funeral Home, with a rosary at 7 p.m.

Mr. Adrian was born in La Salle July 3, 1893. He married Ellen Connelly.

He was a 50-year employee of M&H Zinc Co. He was an Army veteran of World War I, serving in France.

Surviving are his wife, Ellen; two sons, William Adrian Jr. of Morton and Joseph Adrian of Peru; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Mary) Fisher of La Salle; 18 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Anna Ward of Peru and Mrs. Lena Kasza of La Salle.

He was preceded in death by a son, James Adrian.
