Darrell Dean Courtright died on May 24,2011 in Phoenix, Arizona. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on June 1, 2011 at Strode Funeral Home Chapel with Norman Richmond officiating. Interment will follow at Glenwood Eden Chapel. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He was born on August 7, 1944 in Perkins, Oklahoma to Carl and Nola Rue Courtright. He served as a medical corpsman in the United States Army while stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a welder and auto mechanic. He married Toya Landeros on December 4, 1997 in Phoenix, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his father Carl Courtright, mother Nola Rue Courtright, brother Carl Courtright, sister Rachel Hartgrave, brother-in-law Don Hartgrave, brother-in-law Carl Cash, nephew Gordon Courtright, and niece Melodie Cash.

He is survived by his wife Toya Landeros, step-sons; Jose, Jorge, Bobby, and Pedro, step-daughters; Maria and Angelina, grandchildren; Eddie, Yarleni, Yobana, Pedro, Jonathan, Andrew, Alberto, Jose, Jorge, Alex, Alonso, and Nilda, and sister Torchy Cash, nephews; Carl Courtright, Robert Courtright, Ronnie Courtright, and Skip Courtright, nieces; Wanda Thompson, Connie, April Hutson, Shelly Hartgrave, Janie Reichard, and Doni Blair.
Pallbearers are Bill Hutson, Mark Blair, Skip Courtright, Carl Courtright, Robert Courtright, Preston Blair, and Travers Blair.
